Hey guys! If you're true crime junkies like we are, then join me and Steph every other Wednesday for new episodes! We mix a splash of humor with our own take on small town crimes. We will tell you stories of murders from our home town, and the surrounding areas...crimes that often don't make the news, but their stories should still be told. We also have episodes called, The Doc Shop, where we will cover true crime documentaries, and a brand new series called the Survivor Series where we will interview survivors of violent crimes. Episode 21 - Bomb City
So guys, this episode was a little crazy! Note to self...don't tailgate, and then podcast. But seriously...this is the story of the murder of Brian Deneke in Amarillo Texas in 1997. Brian was a member of the punk community, and as we know, anyone who chooses to live their lives different from what society deems "normal", often times become the victims of hate crimes. Dustin Camp, a member of the jocks, viciously ran Brian over in the parking lot of an IHOP, killing him. This was a senseless crime against a person simply for being himself.
