Intoxicology True Crime Podcast
Hey guys! If you're true crime junkies like we are, then join me and Steph every other Wednesday for new episodes! We mix a splash of humor with our own take on small town crimes. We will tell you stories of murders from our home town, and the surrounding areas...crimes that often don't make the news, but their stories should still be told. We also have episodes called, The Doc Shop, where we will cover true crime documentaries, and a brand new series called the Survivor Series where we will interview survivors of violent crimes. We wrap up each episode with our Clink N' Drink segment, where our favorite in-house "Intoxicologist" (our take on mixologist's), Andi, will make awesome drinks, and give YOU the recipes to share with your friends! This podcast requires a love of true crime, zero judgment, and most of all...a good sense of humor. If you can't laugh, even when the subject is dark, then what are you doing with your life? Also, if you write in and we cover your suggested story, you win free merch! So hit us up at intoxicologypodcast@gmail.com!

Episode 18 - Murder for Murder
If you've watched the news recently, then you've heard about the execution of Marcellus Williams. Marcellus was convicted of the 1998 stabbing death of 42 year old Lisha Gayle during the robbery of her St. Louis home. Marcellus was sentenced to death. There were claims that Williams had been wrongfully convicted of the crime, and he maintained his innocence from the time he was convicted until his execution on September 24th, 2024. It seems most of the evidence was circumstantial, and there were claims of misconduct involving the investigation of the crime. His guilt or innocence is a controversial topic, due to the fact that he did in fact burglarize Lisha's home on the night of the murder, he had several items in his home that belonged to her, and there were several claims that Marcellus had admitted to committing the crime. Many think an innocent man was executed on the 24th. What are your thoughts? Let us know.
