Intoxicology True Crime Podcast
Hey guys! If you're true crime junkies like we are, then join me and Steph every other Wednesday for new episodes! We mix a splash of humor with our own take on small town crimes. We will tell you stories of murders from our home town, and the surrounding areas...crimes that often don't make the news, but their stories should still be told. We also have episodes called, The Doc Shop, where we will cover true crime documentaries, and a brand new series called the Survivor Series where we will interview survivors of violent crimes. We wrap up each episode with our Clink N' Drink segment, where our favorite in-house "Intoxicologist" (our take on mixologist's), Andi, will make awesome drinks, and give YOU the recipes to share with your friends! This podcast requires a love of true crime, zero judgment, and most of all...a good sense of humor. If you can't laugh, even when the subject is dark, then what are you doing with your life? Also, if you write in and we cover your suggested story, you win free merch! So hit us up at intoxicologypodcast@gmail.com!

Episode 17 - Survivor Series #1 - "Pomona Pandemonium"
Ok guys, we are starting a new series called the "Survivor Series". In these episodes we will be interviewing people who were victims of a violent crime, and lived to tell about it. This series was inspired by my neighbor Wes, who I recently discovered, was a victim of a violent crime. Wes, along with three of his friends (two of which are brothers) were violently attacked by gang members at a drive through in Pomona, CA in 2014. The attack was completely unprovoked, and appeared to be a gang initiation. This is a story of friendship, loyalty, survival, and the sheer will to live. Wes's blind eye to contempt towards his attackers is inspiring. For those of you traveling a dangerous path to self-destruction for fear of being ostracized, just remember..."it is better to be alone than in bad company". (Note...we only used the victims first names in this episode in order to protect their privacy and ensure their safety)
Also, if you or anyone you know has been a victim of a violent crime, and would like to share your story with our listeners, please contact us at intoxicologypodcast@gmail.com
